Modern day idols

We know that idolatry was prevalent in the Old Testament, however, do we still have idols in this day and age?
Idolatry is more than handcrafted images and other objects. In our modern day we have different kinds of idols.
Some of these modern day idols are things like wealth, comfort, status, reputation etc. Be alert to these idols.
